Geography

Lutes Run is a small creek with natural headwaters located just east of the intersection of Georgia Avenue and Ara Drive. It runs generally north and east from that point, through the neighborhood of Lutes, to a confluence with Bel Pre Creek just north of the intersection of Elwood Lane and Hathaway Drive.

Lutes Run is historically the western boundary of Lutes and the eastern boundary of the Foxhall neighborhood.
