Geography

Lutes is a fairly old neighborhood off of Layhill Road near Georgia Avenue.

The western boundary was Lutes Run, with Bel Pre Creek presently being the northern boundary. It is bounded on the east by Layhill Road, and on the south by Glenfield Park and the terminal train yards of the nearby Glenmont station on the MetroRail system's Red Line.
