Geography
Longmead Crossing is a community combining high-density development with single-family homes. It is bounded to the north and east by Buckhorn Branch, a short stretch of Layhill Road running south from Buckhorn Branch to the Oak Chapel church and cemetery grounds, and is bounded on the south by Argyle Country Club and on the west by Bel Pre Creek and Leisure World. It does not include the Baileys Lane community off of Norbeck Road.
After completion of the Intercounty Connector, it will be effectively bounded on the north and east by that highway.
