Layhill South

Geography
Layhill South neighborhood is bounded to the west by Layhill Road and to the north and east by Bel Pre Creek and the Northwest Branch Park. It is bounded on the southeast by Randolph Road and on the southwest by undeveloped land between Layhill South proper and high-density development along Glenallan Avenue and around the northern corner of the intersection of Glenallan Avenue and Randolph Road.
It surrounds the campus of John F Kennedy High School, and borders the campus of the former Saddlebrook Elementary School, which is currently the headquarters of the Montgomery County division of the Maryland-National Capital Park Police.
