The Indian Springs Country Club closed as of New Year's Eve 2006, ending a run that lasted from 1958 as one of the premiere golf clubs of Montgomery County ("For Indian Spring, Sunday marks final round", Saba, David, Montgomery Gazette, Jan 3, 2007, downloaded 2008 Aug 31).
