Organizational Purpose

1. Educate and inform Leisure World residents about developments and happenings within Leisure World, the surrounding communities, Montgomery County, and the State of Maryland which may affect their health and/or well-being, and
2. . Introduce and discuss actions needed to be taken by residents to protect themselves against any potential health, safety and environmental hazards associated with such developments and happenings, and
3. Help to implement pertinent Leisure World Board resolutions relating to 1. & 2.

Security and Safety

• We are concerned about our security.

on ICC

• INFORCE supports the Leisure World Board's resolution calling for the prohibition of the use of Part A of the ICC until ICC Parts B and C to our east are completed, thereby by-passing Norbeck Road. A petition showing support for the resolution with about 3000 signatures from Leisure World residents was transmitted to Governor O'Malley and the elected officials in the county and state who represent Leisure World.

• We are concerned about emergency vehicle access during the construction of ICC Part B. We are concerned about the ICC-related noise and pollution.

Fiscal

• We are concerned about escalating taxes and fees.
