Fashion Show on Burtonsville Day (Sat., Sept 27th) @ approx 1:00 pm on the northern front entrance of the Marilyn J. Praisner community Center. We are fortunate to have Sen. Rona Kramer, Mrs. Leggett and Alison Praisner Klumpp & her daughter, Kaitlin, to be a part of this show. We need your help in getting the word out and supporting this event by your own participation. Now is not the time to be shy. This is about standing up for BEAUTY WITHIN which 2 ladies will win the title to (beautiful sashes will state that title and be given to the 2 winners for keepsake).

The theme for the Fashion Show is BEAUTY*** STARTS IN OUR HEARTS*** The requirement for entering is that you must enter with 1 other person: your friend, mother, sister, etc. and either purchase your outfit from Dress Barn at the Burtonsville Crossing Shopping Center (where you must go to register for the show), sew your own outfit, or wear a traditional/ethnic garment. The contestants have the option of receiving 25% off services from Hair Cuttery, Nail Spa, and Today's Image after registration.

On the day of the fashion show, the 2 ladies will enter the stage together and after Sen. Rona Kramer describes what they are wearing and what business did their hair, nails, etc. (there will be a stylist and make-up artist the morning of the show as well), they will each describe what makes the other person beautiful inside and how they make a difference in their lives and our community. The prizes for both contestants (outside the title and sashes) are a beautiful small gift trunk filled with lots of gifts from business and gift cards. We are asking that gifts are donated in duplicate.
