Burtonsville Crossing is located just north of Maryland Route 198, between the recently upgraded US Route 29 immediately to the east, and the older four-lane highway formerly known as US-29 to the west.

Burtonsville Crossing does not have unary ownership or management. Rather, the shopping center and the office park have different ownership.

Office Park
The office park is officially styled Burtonsville Office Park. It is a 116,806 square foot office park comprising five freestanding buildings located at the intersection of Routes 29 and 198 in Burtonsville, Maryland.
Transit and Accessibility
Burtonsville, Maryland, is conveniently located about halfway between Washington DC and Baltimore, Maryland. It is also located on a major east-west route, Maryland Route 198. Recent improvements to (and realignment of) US Route 29 allow for easy access to and from Burtonsville Crossing. It is ideally located as a work or shopping destination for traffic coming from either direction on US-29, or coming from the east on MD-198. Traffic coming from points west of US-29 may encounter significant traffic delays at peak hours, although this problem is significantly reduced since the completion of highway work.
