Briggs Chaney Road
From District 4 -- Montgomery County, Maryland
Briggs Chaney Road has a western terminus at New Hampshire Avenue (MD-650) in Cloverly. It runs generally to the east-southeast past Good Hope Road and then turns more directly towards the south as it descends to cross the stream valley of the Paint Branch of the Anacostia River. Turning again more directly to the east-southeast, it rises to cross the Old Columbia Pike and then the newer Columbia Pike (US-29), and then descends into the watershed of the Little Paint Branch where it intersects with Fairland Road and exists Montgomery County. From there it continues more or less easterly to an intersection with Old Gunpowder Road just north of Interstate 95.
